April 14, 2024 - When Anxiety Attacks - Part 2

When anxiety attacks it is important to not give up but keep moving. Pastor Jay's message from Philippians 4:4-7 reminds us that though our circumstances may not be as we expected, God is able to use us as we live through them. Whether our stress is from money, marriage, family, job, or health, our thoughts about them are what produces anxiety. We often try to hide our anxiety because we think we should be able to handle it, but Paul reminds us to take our problems to God and trust Him to carry them.

April 21, 2024 - When Anxiety Attacks - Part 3

Anxiety can affect anyone: physically, mentally, or spiritually. Pastor Jay's message from Philippians 4:4-9 reminds us that Paul had a perspective of praise during his afflictions, and that we can follow his model by practicing gratitude and filling our minds and hearts with what is pure. The God we serve is greater than any circumstance we find ourselves in.
