Pastor Jay shares, from Luke 15:11-32, that the good father, like our heavenly father, is willing to release his children to make their own decisions, receive their children back without recriminations, and show respect for the feelings of each of his children.

The parable about forgiveness, in Matthew 18:21-35, is the subject of Pastor Jay's message today. "We struggle to forgive because we have forgotten the depth of what WE have been forgiven." Because of Jesus, we don't get what we deserve. The immeasurable debt we could never repay has been forgiven.

The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares, from Matthew 13: 24-30 and 36-43 is the focus of this message brought by Pastor Jay. He asked what percentage of our focus is on the kingdom of heaven and how much is on the problems and distractions of this world. If we patiently wait for the God's perfect timing, we will realize that God has a purpose for everything we are going through.

Pastor Jay's message is from Matthew 7:24-27. He points out: when we listen to God, and are obedient, when we live to worship Him rather than be seen by others, when we are close to Him - we are better able to weather the storms of life.

The parable in Matthew 13:44-46, about finding treasure and a pearl of great price, is not about the property but the treasure: The Kingdom of God. Pastor Jay shares that there should be so much joy over discovering the Treasure of Heaven, Jesus Christ, that we value Him above all else, willing to give up everything worldly and deny ourselves daily to follow Him.
